An Evening - Good for one and bad for others ....

this is about the guy i met yesterday evening ...
man we met him just to check his car as he is selling it ..
so we thought it would not take more than an hour .. can you people guess how long we had to be there ???

an hour or two... nope ... it was almost 31/2 hours :):(

let me first introduce him shortly ...

he is venkat aged above 40 ...
he has been in US for last 7 yrs ...
was working in a multinational company and got laid off few weeks back ...
he is a brahmin and he is a Hindu ...
i could have avoided his caste and religion but he is so proud of being brahmin and Hindu so i have to tell that ...
he is selling his Toyota Camry car as he is heading back to the his undeveloped home ...
that was what his comment on India ...

we came to know all these things when we were getting introduced ... man do you think you will give this much information about you to the unknown persons ??? i have never seen ...

we were just told our names and what we are doing for our bread and butter ...

just like that my friend asked him "Why are you leaving US Venkat ?"

that was the second chance for him to open his mouth ... he was getting into recession, technologies,Indian IT firms blah blah ...he was unstoppable ... i was about to say "Sir we are here to test your car but you are testing our patience" ...
but since i was not the buyer i dint open up ...
i was just thinking about his interest in speaking irrespective of audience interests ...

good that my friend interrupted him ... "Venkat, Shall we have a drive on your car ???"

i dint want to get into the car as i was already fed up with him ...
one of my friend also opted out for the same reason ... so we stayed back and two of my friend and venkat went for a drive ...

once they got into the car i asked my frnd "Machan paavam da ivaru wife ... oru vela avangalukku kathu ketkatho ???"

they returned back after 20 minutes ...i was not interested in knowing what happened on the test drive ... actually i dint want to open my mouth and get into trouble ... so i was just watching what is going on there ...i thought they wud start negotiationg the price and we wud be moving in another 10 minutes ...

there comes a turning point .. once he stepped down the car he invited us to his home :(( ...i was the first said big NO...but we were forced and had to get into his home ...on the way my friend told "avaru wife la vera irupaanga , kolanthaiga irukum
yethukku da theva illama ulla koopduraru " ...

though i was not interested in getting into his house i just wanted to see his family :))))

man he is NOT MARRIED :((((((((((((((((((((((((((

he is been in US for 7 years alone ... is it possible ??? can you be alone for 7 years in US ??? i cannot ..i amazed him but never admired :)))

then we had to listen him for 2 more hours with a cup of Tea :((( he was into politics,Indian Christianity,Racism,Women, epics, politics, golf etc etc ...

he pointed out lot of facts which looks good in paper but it practical hmmm hummm :((( ...

"Yettu surakkai kariku uthavathu" Venkat Sir !!!

main matter aah na car negotiation weekendukku othi vaikka pattathu :( velila vanthu en friend sonnan dei paavam da avaru evalo naal pesama iruntharo makkala patha udanae pesi thallitarunu ... Sympathy :)))

p.s - This is my first post in English !!! I am not that much gud in english so if you find any mistakes please let me know i will correct it :))) thanks in advance ...
